Elegant Additions has recently received national certification as a Women’s Business Enterprise by the Women's Business Enterprise Alliance (WBEA), a regional certifying partner of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).
WBENC’s national standard of certification implemented by the Women's Business Enterprise Alliance is a meticulous process, including an in-depth review of the business and site inspection. The certification process is designed to confirm the business is at least 51% owned, operated and controlled by a woman or women.

PROGRAM GUIDELINES – TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Issue date: 1/31/2013
Program basics
• Earn points to exchange for products for your personal use.
• Points are recognized on an individual order basis.
• Every $5,000 sale (net of sales tax, shipping and handling) you bring to Elegant Additions earns you a point
• Points are awarded in $5,000 net sale value increments, and
• Awarded to the individual who initiates the project / order.
• Each point is worth $100 retail to spend at Elegant Additions
• Points can be exchanged for merchandize at any time
• Points never expire – so keep collecting your elegant rewards
General program guidelines
• The effective date for elegant rewards program is January 2, 2013.
• The elegant rewards are available to “to the trade” clients only.
• elegant rewards points are earned by the individual who actively represents a client by bringing the client into Elegant Additions and the representation results in a consummated order / sale.
• Individuals must register with and be approved by Elegant Additions prior to a sales being consummated.
• Registration requires completing the elegant rewards application form and submitting the completed form to an Elegant Additions representative.
• The value of the sale used to determine elegant rewards points is based on the total of the approved quote less sales tax if any and shipping and handling.
• elegant rewards points are calculated based on $5,000.00 (net) dollar increments with a starting minimum sales value of $5,000.00 (net).
• Each elegant rewards point is worth $100 (retail – net of sales tax, shipping and handling, and freight if any) to spend at Elegant Additions
• elegant rewards points are on a per order basis.
• Redemption of elegant rewards point value in exchange for merchandize is based on retail value of the product(s) chosen.
• elegant rewards points are non-transferable
• elegant rewards points are redeemable for products currently offered by Elegant Additions and available at the time of redemption.
• elegant rewards points are redeemable for merchandize only.
• Merchandize selected using the elegant rewards program are non-returnable
• Individuals redeeming elegant rewards points will be responsible for applicable sales tax, shipping and handling, and freight if the product is required to be shipped.
• Elegant Additions reserves the right to change, modify and or eliminate the elegant rewards program and / or the Terms of Use or any policy, FAQ, or guidelines pertaining to the elegant rewards program at any time and in its sole discretion.
• Any changes or modifications will be effective immediately upon posting to the revisions to www.elegantadditions.net.
• By participating in the program participants agree to be bound to the terms and conditions of the program.
• elegant rewards points’ redemption is subject to the current published program guidelines as posted at www.elegantadditions.net., and participants waive any right they may have to receiving specific notice of such changes or modifications.
• Participation confirms acceptance of the terms and conditions of the elegant rewards program and any changes or modifications. Participants are encouraged to review the Terms and Conditions frequently to understand any changes or modifications to the elegant rewards program.

FAQ
• What happens if my reward balance is less than the value of the merchandize I would like to buy? The participant may make up the difference by paying cash, check or credit card
• How do I check my balance? A quick call to the Elegant Additions accounting department can verify all aspects of your account.
• Is there a specific time that I must redeem my points earned in any given year? No, elegant rewards points do not expire.
• What happens to my points if the merchandize I would like to secure with points has a value less than the total points I have accumulated? Do I lose them? Do I have a specific time to add to them? Points are awarded based on $5,000 net order value increments and equal to a value of $100.00 retail (net of sales tax, shipping and handling and freight if applicable); there are not fractional values. Points are earned on a per order basis; each individual order stands on its own. An individual can earn elegant rewards points for each individual order they place. The individual may combine all their elegant rewards points toward their purchase.
• Can elegant rewards points be pooled with other persons having points in the program? No, points are awarded on an individual basis and are non-transferable
• Are elegant rewards points earned on redemption purchases? No
• Must I be a member of the program before I consummate an order for the order to earn elegant rewards points? Yes, eligible orders are those that are placed AFTER membership in the program has been established.
• Can I have more than one order that qualifies for points? Yes, each order with a minimum value of $5,000 (net) or more (in increments of $5,000 net) earns elegant rewards points.

Leading Trade Fair for Plumbing Fittings in Europe
Ten days ago, Elegant Additions Owner, Julie Koch, flew to Bologna, Italy to participate in the Cersaie Fair. Vendors from all over Europe came to this annual exhibition to show the latest and best bath trends for the year.
WELLNESS was everywhere - prevent illness and protect your health!!! There were spas to pamper, tubs to massage, mood elevation via water pressure and temperature, steams rooms that appear to come from the next century and tranquility in every design.
Gessi, a maker of items for the bath, showed 2 new collections, along with some amazing bath accessories. There were towel bars from the ceiling, and spouts, too, along with fittings that look like drops of water.
Julie and Richard joined Andreas Dornbracht of Dornbracht U.S.A for a reception. At the fair, Dornbracht showcased their latest fittings, ATT. Stop in the Dallas showroom to see ATT - one of a handful of showrooms in the country offering this amazing, working experience.
NARI - National Association of the Remodeling Industry - Dallas Chapter
On Tuesday August 9th, NARI industry members shared an evening at the Elegant Additions showroom in Dallas.
Those in attendance ranged from home remodelers to kitchen and bath designers.
Eighty-five guests enjoyed delicious Texas BBQ. New connections were definitely made and fun was had by all.
Devon and Devon was a big hit, as was the Gessi Rettangolo ceiling mounted spout.......and of course, Vitraform.
RSVP Design Event - Dallas

Elegant Additions and Materials Marketing sent an SUV Limo to fetch the girls from RSVP Design Services so we could all share a wonderful dinner, prepared by Wendy Krispin Catering (http://www.wendykrispincaterer.com). The evening started in the Elegant Additions showroom with wine and fabulous snacks. The group saw the very latest in hot products and cool ideas for the bath.
We moved to Materials Marketing to stand on some very cool and very elegant stone. We also saw tile, stones and more. Then we got to sit and eat and eat and eat. The best part of the evening was that the seven of us really got to know each other. And we found out some very interesting information about each other. But don't worry ladies.....your secrets are safe with us!!!
Elegant Additions at the James Hotel NYC
Elegant Additions recently entertained some of the most popular editors in the U.S. at the James Hotel in New York City. Showing the press items from our elegant collections never seen in the U.S. before, pictures were taken and ideas were exchanged.
Those in the crowd included Architectural Digest, Elle Decor, Traditional Home, Veranda, Real Simple, Lonny Magazine, Apartment Therapy and some well-known freelance writers. With hot chef David Burke preparing the food, it was a perfectly elegant event.

Dinner with Dornbracht and Elegant Additions Atlanta
" ONE AMAZING NIGHT ! " is all people could say about the sit down dinner held in the Atlanta showroom of Elegant Additions. To begin the evening guests were treated to special bites and chats with the chef.
Once everyone was seated Andreas Dornbracht, of Dornbracht Bath and Kitchen Fittings, gave the crowd a “sneak peak” at the brand new releases for the coming year. How special it was to have the owner of the company come all the way from Germany to host a dinner for special design types and the media.
Andreas told the crowd of the brand new shower system that spas around the world are clamoring for. And so much more was learned. Then the real fun began.
Julie Koch, President of Elegant Additions, arranged with one of the hottest chefs in town to cook his version of a southern inspired meal. And what a meal it was!!! Believe it or not, he cooked the entire meal on portable griddles in the showroom. Andreas said he was embarrassed to say he ate every bite.
Spotted in the crowd were Bill Carpenter, Jackie Naylor, Mark Williams, Frank Neely and some great editors, including Veranda Magazine.
